    Welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you mean that you installed Windows 7 on the same Drive where Ubuntu was located? If yes then does it mean that you no longer want Ubuntu.

If that be the case then First delete the partition as shown in Partition or Volume - Delete

Then clean install Windows 7 on the unallocated space as shown in Clean Install Windows 7

The installation should generally take place without a hitch.

    Good luck.

Sometimes it requires wiping the HD with Diskpart Clean Command to clear Linux code from boot sector. DISKPART At PC Startup

If you're intending to Dual Boot follow these steps: Dual boot Ubuntu-Win7

    Hi

I tried to install windows 7 all versions except enterprise edition on a Dell Inspiron N4050. Windows install completely but on last bootup when windows have to show welcome screen system gives an error "The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated BIOS"

    Technical Information

    Stop : 0X000000A5(0X00000011,0X00000003,0X00000000,0X00000000)

Windows 7 Enterprise edition is sucessful.

But Windows 7 Enterprise edition is not activated. I try to activate it but failed.
Please give me solution for this problem.

    Thanks

Enterprise requires Volume Licensing activation by a business or large organization. It is not for consumer use.

Why are you installing all versions and not the one which you purchased?

If this is to replace Win7 which came on the Dell use the Product Key on the COA sticker to activate the licensed version only: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
