Windows 7 setup cannot load Hard drive

    Plz help,

I got a virus in my system that has halted my entire system. My laptop wont even start. So i tried to format it with windows 7 (32 bit), the Bootable CD loads fine, but the setup does not shows any partition in my drive.

The error message is no drive found.

I was worried that my hard disk may have crashed, so i started my laptop using ubuntu 9.04 live CD, and it worked.
But I had 3 partitions in my drive...
    1. C (primary)
    2. D (Documents and imp DATA)
    3. E (some other data)
Ubuntu can only detect C: drive, It is unable to mount D or E drive. And i have loads of data, very imp documents and projects in it.

Plz suggest how can i load my windows in my laptop. How can i make my setup detect my drive.

Work through these steps which will confirm the infection is cleaned up, repair System files and attempt to start Win7, then if necessary copy out files before running Factory Recovery or Clean Reinstalling: Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot - Windows 7 Forums
