    Hello Dwarf.

I've got everything, 64-bit W7 7000, 64-bit Vista Ultimate and 32-bit XP SP3 Pro all on about 82GB partitions with no difficulties at all. One suggestion; make another partition to store "stuff" on, away from the different OSs; in case of any problems, that way if you have to re-install one of them you won't have that much (if anything) to move.

Someone once told me; "never store anything on an OS partition you don't want to lose."

Thanks for the advice everyone. Hopefully, I shall be carrying out the system reconfiguration next weekend (24/25 Jan), so I will be offline for a short time. Incidentally, I did a price comparison on the 2 versions of Vista Ultimate SP1 (today at PCWorld, Doncaster):
    Full Version £350
    Upgrade Version £200
That gives a saving of £150. It will be interesting to see if there is a similar price differential when W7 finally hits the shelves as a retail product. If the upgrade method is the same as Vista then that saving is well worth having. Even if it is different, then I expect that a workaround will be found.
