I've downloaded the HP ISO that I need. Do I just transfer that entire folder onto a disc?

Ok, so I downloaded the right ISO and put it onto a disk. I put the HDD back into the laptop and put the disk in but it just kept saying Im missing O/S

I have downloaded the ISO's and Win 8 and other things people have suggested. I have them on my laptop. How do I put them on a disk to put into the laptop I'm trying to fix? I've tried putting ISO on disk and in laptop and it came up missing O/S.
How and what do I put on disk to put on HDD in laptop I'm trying to fix?

Try another burner. ImgBurn is a good one. I think Windows includes a burner. You don't need whatever you tried.
Use a low speed and good quality discs.
