    Hi
    I wanted to instal Windows7
During installation in the window of where do you want to instal Windows? I deleted all the partition because I wanted to make new partitions
But I coudn't delete one of them
    at last two partition remained

    1) Disk 0 Unlocated space (8.1GB)
    2) Disk 1 Unlocated space (465.8GB)

I can not delete Disk 0 even I can not delete it.
And when I click on the Disk 0 (Disk 0 Unlocated space (8.1GB)) and then click on the new (In the driver options (advanced)) a message appears (0*8007045d)

So I can not do any thing in Disk 0

what Is yor solution for deleting this Disk 0?

    My motherboard is P5Q
My HDD is Maxtor 500 SATA

The error message suggests your hard drive may be corrupted.

Are you able to post a screenshot of your hard drive layout?

Have you tried selecting Disk 0 and choosing Extend instead of New?

In any event, you would be unable to install Windows to Disk 0 as it is too small.

Your other alternative is to create a bootable CD using Partition Wizard and use it to repartition your hard drive.

Partition Wizard : Use the Bootable CD

Once you've done that, you can boot back into your Windows installation disc to install the operating system.

    You have double-posted.

    Please refrain from double-posting.

This leaves a bad taste in the mouth of those who try to help you.

My recommendation is that you ask the moderators to remove one of the two. Better that you ask them than they tell you.

Why have you ignored the above advice?

Why do you keep creating different threads on the same subject?

Disk at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi

It feels as though we are wasting our time.

    Hi
    I'm sorry
But first I wanted to instal Windows XP and I asked a question about Disk at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi
After that I decided to use Widows7 because I couldn't solve my problem and ask question about 0*8007045d
However when I experience new subjects I prefer to ask them
Now I find out that Disk at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi are same as 0*8007045d
I didn't know it before so I thank you for your instruction.
