How long between two installs of Windows 7

    some updates replace certain system files with exactly the same file just to test for bugs in the updating system,as far as i can tell.I think that's probably what is meant by test updates.

    I muck about with alot of software,and it would be unusual if i dont re-install within a week due to some kind of problem.

    Every time i do a system restore,most of my software disappears or stops working(and no,it isn't because i've restored to before it was installed)...Happens every time,so i just do fresh install now,and have all my software etc. in a way so i can put back on quickly(the software i know that works properly anyway,like my firefox/thunderbird profiles and reg entries for activating my software)

    Its been in, for more than : 13 Years 240 Days 21 Hours 38 Minutes, now....

    Online updates, "Rolling Upgrades" make changes though....

    (Wonder how they handle their "Registry" without rebooting ???)
