If you decide to try Darik's, here you go.

    Download

Download Darik's Boot and Nuke from SourceForge.net

Create a bootable dvd of the .iso using imgburn

    The Official ImgBurn Website

Set Bios to boot to cd or dvd and Darik's will start.

Choose the DOD (Dept of Defense) Short option and let it run.
Will take a couple of hours.

When finished, take out disc, insert Win 7 and reboot.

If Win7 does not recognize the hard drive, you will need to reboot again and load the proper Toshiba drivers (download and put them on a CD from the Toshiba website) when promted to load 3rd party drivers.

I tried to clean my hdd with the DiskWipe software, Disk Wipe - Free software
I think that this program is the same that Darik's Boot And Nuke | Hard Drive Disk Wipe and Data Clearing
I don not how to use the Darik's software so i tried with DiskWipe. I retired the hdd from the laptop and i wipe and clean them with anoter computer, them i tried to istall windows 7 but i still have the bsod problem after the first reboot.
Thank you very much for your help.

Your problem is likely the RAID config. We are getting more of these every day.

    Hello, thank you very much.
I do not how to use Darik's Boot And Nuke, so i tried with DiskWipe Software, www.diskwipe.org
I retired the two hdd from the laptop and i wipe and clean them with another computer with the diskwipe software, i think that this software has the same function that Darik's.
After that i tried to install windows 7, but i still have the bsod's problem.
    Thank you for your help.

Can you try with only one HD and lose the RAID config?

Set Raid setting in Bios to JBOD (just a bunch of discs)
Use the Dariks as I haved outlined above. Very simple and it worked for me. Just because Disc Wipe is similar doesn't mean it is the same. Darik's gives you the option of different types of cleaners and only the DOD Short worked for me - give it a try.

I am fairly certain that I had to load the drivers for the raid controller even with Win7 - Win7 doesn't contain the raid controller drivers for older Toshibas. I believe if you are not required to add the drivers when asked to load 3rd party drivers than you are not completely wiping the system.

You need the Raid controller driver even if you don't use Raid - its a little odd due to the notebooks factory dual HD's.

I believe I had to download the latest XP Raid Drivers from Toshibas site since the notebook is originally packaged with XP. If the drive(s) are not recognized after loading the XP driver than the Vista driver is what I used.

Don't give up. It tooks me weeks of trying and studying to get Win 7 on my notebook but I did it and it runs great. My next upgrade will be a Intel Solid State Drive when the prices come down so I can enjoy 20 second boot-ups like I have read about.

As a side note - when I tried to do a clean Vista install years ago I ran into the same troubles. At that time I followed Toshibas instructions and had to do a fresh XP install then the Upgrade version of Vista Ultimate.
