    New install crash

Hi! I've just reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my brothers laptop, and it installs and everything, but when Windows loads, the mouse shows for a few seconds and the laptop resets :/

    Here are the specs:
    Intel Core i3 @2.4ghz
    4Gb Kingston MDDR3
    nVidia Geforce 425M
    WD Blue 320Gb HDD

    Please help! :)Thanks

Did you wipe all partitions and do a clean install?

Is your installation disc OEM, retail, borrowed from a friend, burned, or what?

What make and model of laptop?

Follow these steps to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Everything you need is in the blue link. Burn the latest ISO to DVD or write to flash stick, boot and follow the install steps.

If this fails, wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command.

Did you follow the steps I gave you? This is an interactive process where we give steps, you reply with results, then we give more steps until it is installed.
