Thanks Sassa, worked for me too :)
Dinesh, you probably don't like hearing this from a newbie but don't forget to mark the thread as solved :)
Kari's method works fine if you reassign the drive letter to a or b first. Then the option "restrict a and b" covers it. Since I don't have a floppy drive, I don't mind hiding both.
I am Asraful Haque .I faced the same problem that showing System Reserved Partition sized 100 mb .I use the simple solving method that I followed are :
Right click on C: Drive and select Properties Now you can see the Local Disk(C:) Properties Model Dialog Box Now select the tools tab feature in the Local Disk(C:) Properties Model Dialog Box Now click on Check Now button and you can see the Check Disk Local Disk (C:) Model Dialog Box And at last select the check box Automatically File System Errors and click on the start button . Restart the computer and let the check computer file system error . Hope it will hide the system reserved partition . Waiting for the swift response for my first post!
Thanks. Worked.
Why do you have a letter assigned to it? The install process does not assign a letter to it. If you remove the letter it will only show in computer management as a reserved partition.
how to hide 100MB system reserved partition?
1. Start > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management(Local) >
System Reserved Partition > Right Click > Change Drive Letter & Path > Select > Remove > Ignore Warrnings And Fish ( DONE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ~ )
I have done it myself after searching online for hours, just because I installed and updated my windows so I was worried about Re-Installing it and so I took the risk and WORKS FOR ME!!!~
Simply Remove the "Drive Letter" of system reserved partition. :)
2. Should I ignore the message when trying to change the "Drive Letter"???
3. YES!~ ignore it and restart the windows > Log Off > Restart :)
Tried Karl's way, now I am showing NO FOLDERS!! Don't know how to get them back.
