Cant repair an aborted windows 7 install

    I'm going to buy the 4 gb probably tomorrow or the next day and I will defiently message back if I have any more questions and the outcome. Thank you all for your help, and Pauly love your picture :)

    Angela,
    Does you Win 7 DVD already have SP1?

    If not you may want to consider downloading a version with SP1.

    The download will not be small but you will then have an ISO file which you can put onto either a DVD or onto a USB stick.

    I just want to thank everyone for the help, I'm not out of the woods yet, but it is installing from the usb as i type, so thanks everyone & at Big Lots here in Fl I got an 8 GB flash for $8.00, heck yeah :)

    It worked just fine and my D drive came back he is already up and running

    For best performance maintain reinstall from the steps given in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

    Once you get up and running be sure to take a system image (copy of the OS hard drive) and if you hit any problems in the future you can simply restore the machine from the image and be right back to where you are now without reinstalling and having to find drivers etc
