    [HELP]Installing Seven Ultimate

Alright well I got a CD from a friend that has Windows 7 ultimate on it. (build 7600 32 bit) But I was stupid and installed the Starter version rather than Ultimate. Now im stuck. I tried to reinstall and click on where it says "Ultimate" but I cant. I get to where it says "Upgrade" or "Custom" and I select custom. Then it doesnt give me a choice of clicking on Ultimate. Instead it just goes into the installation process and then says
that the installation is not successful because it is missing files or something. I am really stuck here and would love some help. I cannot stand windows 7 starter and would like to upgrade.
    PLEASE HELP?

    Thanks in advance,

Try doing a clean install ... format the drive via the custom menu ...

    NB
... Unless you can verify where your friend got this file from, I would be very careful installing it ... you never can tell what little gifts have been left behind...

Ok well I have tried that. So do I just insert the CD containing the OS and then go to custom? Sorry Im a bit of a noob when it comes to OS's... I can program all day but when it comes to this stuff I have no idea what to do T.T

And I know I trust this guy. I dont think it has anything wrong with it, I jus dont know how to use it. And im not about to spend 200 on a OS when i can jus go back to Vista...
