How did you do that? Please share the steps with the board members. And also let us know,which version of Win 7 you have installed? Whether 32-bit?

I'm still not able/ successful in installing Win 7 on Inspiron 700m. Please post the steps & drivers required.And also links to download the drivers.

sorry for all . i tried three times in different version drivers. the steps was so hard and i couldn't remember it clearly, i got a black screen and used "safe mode" for setting up the "6.14.10.3722"driver. However , i will reinstall my system several days later and post my clear steps. now the screen resolutin is 1280*800 but without aero effect.

Windows7 RTM 32-bit version.

I found this post that may help the video driver issue. Haven't tried it yet but will do so soon.
