Well i dont get to the section where i want to install xp on the parition.

I just loads the disk from the boot, i see it loading the files such as kernal debugger and all of the files it then says setting up or loading windows xp i forgot exacly which on it was but then thats it, it goes to the blue screen.
Paul, you still might want to try TEWS suggestion. I think you misunerstood it. He suggested you extract the contents of the XP disk (not install, just create a copy in a separate partition, not the one you want to install it on). Then run setup from there.

Tews, I couldn't recommend a program to do it. I think 7-zip will extract all the files from the ISO to the partition, and then you can run it, do you know? I have done it before but I got to it via a convoluted way. I know you can't use ImgBurn, it only accepts to write to a CD / DVD

Format the partition that you want to put xp on.... then extract the files to same partition and run setup.exe ... should set you straight..

That is the way. You will need to copy the contents of the iso, not the file itself, to the third partition.

Edit: not to confuse you, I believe the third partition or the same partition would work, as TEWS recommended. I myself would prefer to keep the installation files and the actual XP OS separate.
