Unable to make NEW SIMPLE VOLUME in Windows 7

I have brought a new laptop running in Windows 7. When i try to make a New Simple Volume with disk management, i get the following errors.

" The operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dynamic disk(s). If you convert the disk(s) to dynamic, you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s) (except the current boot volume). Are you sure you want to continue?"

I have tired to convert my Basic Disk to Dynamic disk, but when i right click, i cant find the options (i have the screenshot attached.)

please help i cant use my computer unless i have a separate volume.

    Welcome to the forum,

You have 4 primary partitions, which is why you are having problems.

Have you made your recovery discs yet? Creating Recovery Discs or Saving a Recovery Image to a USB Flash Drive (Windows 7) - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Do not convert your Disk to Dynamic!

If it was me, I would put that unallocated space back on C, make my recovery discs, then image the entire drive to an external drive so you have a safe return if your future partitioning attempts go south.

Once you have created your recovery discs and the image, you could delete one of the HP partitions so you can then create your desired partition or what most enthusiasts prefer a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

If you wish to keep HP Recovery and bootable diagnostics tool partitions functional then the best practice is to convert C to Logical using free Partition Wizard bootable CD, then add as many adjoining Logical partitions as you wish:
