I don't see anything in the log showing the install failed. Below is the last entry, maybe it will mean something. But possibly some driver/device problem caused the system to reboot and no log entry was written.

Unattend: Setup is running in WinPE; will wait for removable storage devices to initialize before unattend search
Unattend: Removable storage devices initialized; waited 0ms (status 0x00000000)
There are several mentions about your hard drive not supporting SMART.. I may be misreading it, but do you have SMART enabled, or is it just the drive.

Edit: Since the log shut off, maybe these locations and files might help.

    %WINDIR%\Panther
Log location of Setup actions after disk configuration.
    %WINDIR%\Inf\Setupapi*.log
Used to log Plug and Play device installations.

    I don't have SMART enabled.
I'm downloading official .iso of Windows 7 Ultimate from this site and I will try to install it in about 10-15 minutes and post here if anything succeeds.

Before you do a reinstall, you might try using the Install DVD to do a Startup Repair, if you can get that far. But if nothing else, using a different media might give different results.

Just curious, do you have access to another display?
The logs don't indicate that anything is going wrong, I'm wondering if you aren't seeing a blank screen when you shouldn't be.

If you are getting Compatilibity box in XP after install failure it means you are NOT booting the Disk but running it from XP.

How do you plan to activate Ultimate?

Wipe the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command from the installer accessing DISKPART At PC Startup.

    How are you burning DVD?

@Maguscreed No I don't have another screens and I never get black screen during the installation.
@gregrocker Yeah I get the compatibility error when I get back to XP. I burned it with Nero Burning ROM and Image burning option.

Edit: BTW I want to wipe out the disk on which XP is installed so how do I do that?

Any chance you could get your hands on a new or empty hard first for testing?

If you want to wipe the drive, gregrocker gave you instructions with the link to Diskpart and the clean command.

Is it ok to use my XP cd because that one works perfectly just to format my drive on which the windows is installed?
