    Dual-boot, remove Ubuntu

    hi
i have installed windows 7 then ubuntu alongside it
everytime i start the pc up, there is a screen to choose the OS, that's OK
i think the boot partition is ubuntu
once i removed ubuntu completely from the device and i was unable to boot windows, not even after trying to repair Windows via its DVD, until i installed ubuntu again and did it

i want a way now to remove ubuntu and stay on Windows only, but i can't get it booted up, can anyone help me please???

Note: i removed Ubuntu via windows, right-click on my computer and manage, then formatted its partition

    thanks in advance

    Mark the Win7 Partition Active.

Then run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times to write or repair the System boot files to the Win7 partition and overwrite GRUB boot loader.

Be aware however that GRUB can cause Win7 to become irreparable when on the same HD.
