    Windows 7 AIO Best practices?

Hi, i tried making a Windows 7 AIO DVD using a program called "Win7 AIO Maker" which i got when i googled for some automated ways to do the task above. But even before using the software, i tried the imagex commands to make one and successfully burned one to a dvd. After testing all editions(x86 and x64) installations worked fine. But then, the OS installed from this AIO DVD hangs, slows down dramatically and even fails to install programs and some hardware such as audio stops working.

so i'm just wondering if there are ways to make sure if a burned/copied windows 7 dvd will install a "reliable" OS.

I don't believe so, I haven't had any success with that side of it; just create this from the install once complete.

    ok. Thanks! :]

    oh and 1 last question.
    Upon using the ei.cfg utility,
does it do anything else to the .iso other than delete the ei.cfg file?

What I do instead of using the tool to remove the ei.cfg file I just rename it to ei.cfg.old and leave it in place then if you ever need to add it back just remove the .old and you're good to go.
