Changing my Dual Boot to Win7 as default reverts to the text Dual Boot menu which saves about 10-20 seconds without having to reboot.

Evil Nemesis,
Just to verify, but have you already checked everything posted here earlier to make sure you have it set properly to display the new Windows 8 GUI boot screen? Be sure to read all of the blue NOTE box in the quoted tutorial at the link below. :)
How to Install Windows 7 Over Windows 8 | Dual Boot
sorry it's confusing for me , i'm not that advance in this BCD Store and Bootloader thing, to be honest I didn't have a clue what you just said.
Brink does not seem to know you got it working with the GUI, now you want to change back to the Text boot menu, but I may be misreading his post.
I am not completely sure where we stand right now, but if you want to remove the bootmenupolicy option in the BCD Store, it is close to the one you ran in your second post. Except you change /set to /deletevalue
Running BCDedit in the Administrative command window gives you a listing. On the bottom of one of the Boot Loader listings will be the bootmenupolicy entry. You need to know the Identification of the loader you want to work on. In your case, it is probably {current} if you are booted into Windows 8
Then type this command to remove the entry and return to a text boot menu where you can select Windows 8 as default boot.
bcdedit /deletevalue {current} bootmenupolicy
Hit enter and you should get the completed successfully message.
See Attachment. I am a little surprised you are having a problem with this, you do call yourself an IT (information technology) MasterHope it works out.

@saltgrass
lolz mate, you made me laugh, actually I'm not very good with windows 8 yet or even windows 7 dos commands etc, I left using DOS since 9x era on top of that I never checked on the bcdedit command ever that's why it was confusing for me but thanks to you for clarifying every time. I used the easyBCD to set win7 as default so now I have the old black screen bootloader..
@Brink
You're right I was asking about restoring the GUI Bootloader but after restoring it didn't like it co'z if you had to run win7 your system needs a restart so then I wanted to revert back to the old version
Thanks everyone, marking this as Solved.
That's great news Evil. I'm glad you got it sorted, and hopefully we didn't make it to confusing for you. :)
