Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit (recovered)

Hi guys I upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. My computer has three hard drives - 160gb (SATA), 80gb (SATA), & 80gb (IDE); and I have two OS's - Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit on the 160gb hdd and Windows XP Professional 32-bit on 80gb (IDE). By the way, the reason why I upgraded to 7 because Vista had a major software problem that I couldn't determine what caused it - it boots forever. I tried repairing it with the installation disc but it didn't work. I also tried repairing it through Windows XP's check disk. It did something to it like "insert index entry at... blah blah blah on file blah blah.." but it still didn't help. Now came the decision of moving to Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. I erased first Vista by using the format disk utility through Windows XP since doing a clean install on the 160gb is not possible. Doing a clean install on the 160gb through Vista is not possible because of an error message appears on the Win 7 installation that it cannot load the driver of the 160gb hdd. So I did an upgrade through XP. Or actually it's considered a clean install since I wasn't able to keep my files and settings with that but I used the Easy Transfer Utility. After doing a clean install of Win 7 on the hdd where XP was on, a prompt appears asking me what operating system to choose - Windows 7 or Vista Ultimate 32 (recovered). This bewildered and annoyed me because I know for a fact that I already deleted Vista through XP's format disk utility. Windows 7 loads normally when I choose it from the prompt and then when I chose Vista, the error message popped up "0x000000f," "windows/system32/winload.exe," "cannot load... etc," "because the file is missing or corrupted." I want to get rid of this. How will I tell the system that I have already shifted to Windows 7 and that Vista is no more? Please help me. Thank you.

Please post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map and listings:

1. Type Disk Management in Start Search box.
2. Open Disk Mgmt. window and maximize it.
3. Type Snipping Tool in Start Search box.
4. Open Snipping Tool, choose Rectangular Snip, draw a box around full map and all listings.
5, Save Snip, attach using paper clip in Reply Box.

Tell us what is on each partition.

Always unplug all other HD's during install.

Type msconfig in start Search box, rightclick result to run as Admin. Under boot tab, highlight delete the Vista listing. Reboot to see.

Thank you so much. Msconfig worked. After pulling up msconfig dialog box, I selected the Boot tab then deleted the "Windows Vista Ultimate (recovered)" entry. After that, I was prompted to restart my pc then, all went well. It's ok now. Thank you so much!

What is the use of the UpdatusUser in the user account?

I believe it is established to let Windows Updates get past log in at reboot to install updates.

You can click Manage another account to Delete it because if ever needed again it will recreate itself.
