No worries - well done![]()
except I have another issue, no wifi driver, doesn't show any networks lol
Plug in an ethernet cable, and then let Windows update - it should pick up a wifi driver for you.If not, we can find one for you.
My luck is such that I lost the only ethernet cable I had a while back, lol, sorry
I found all the drivers for my laptop though so, I've downloaded them, put them on a USB, and am installing them on the laptop
Thanks
Hopefully you followed the steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.
As it suggests put your wireless driver on a stick or CD so you can get online quickly to install your Windows Updates which will have more drivers cued under Optional.
Your wireless driver is here: Download
It will be one of the two wireless drivers at the end of the list - try installing both if necessary until the icon becomes active in the System Tray, left click to connect to network. If there are problems rightclick the icon to run Troubleshooter.
Thanks, I did that, everything is working now, just downloading all the Windows Updates
