cant get windows 7 to install hard drive not found to save it

    Hello all,

I'm having problems with my laptop trying to install windows 7 ultimate.

It all starts fine but gets to the point as where do you want to install windows and there is nothing there to select, no hard drive to save it to.

Here is a link as to where I asked on another site if you need a few details and see what I've done already to try and fix it.

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the DVD, and how? How do you plan to activate it?

If you still have an OS onboard the make your Recovery disks first.

Boot the installer to wipe the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command.

Then follow these steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
