    Actually 95 would run great with 64mb in! I had on one old IBM I386 with only 16mb and upgraded 3.1 to 95 there. I barted with another tech for a 486 job seeing 32mb where the next move at the time into 98 is where things got slow again.

    Later when finally being in XP for a few years I bumped the ram up from 1gb to 2gb and ... (eyes opened wide) the real difference could be seen there. That being the minimum for Vista, 7 would simply ring circles around the two previous versions with the same amount of memory!
