can't clean install windows7, bootmgr is missing problem

Hey guys, I have been trying to troubleshoot my PC for a month now with no success when a standoff on my motherboard came loss and my motherboard shorted-out. I already warrentied my motherboard; no difference. Then I went and bought new RAM; also no difference. How do I get passed this stupid "bootmgr is missing" message. I have no existing OS on the drive. Please help!

Alright I use the CMOS jumper pins and now I can get past that stupid bootmsg missing message. Now I can't get past the windows loading screen where they make the windows logo, it freezes. Sometimes I do make it past that part, but it just freezes at the blue screen with the bird and leaf. Please help, this is so frustrating. Thanks

You could try a Startup Repair.

    Hope this helps,

If several Startup Repairs don't work from installer or System Repair Disk then work through these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot which lead up to possibly rescuiing your files and then Clean Reinstall or running Factory REcovery.

You have no OS and you wonder why you're getting Bootmgr is Missing? That's why.

If you're trying to install Win7 then you need to boot the installer to override that message and Clean Install Windows 7.

If it won't prompt to Press any Key with disk in drive then it's either the disk or the drive. Try writing installer ISO to flash stick using Universal USB Installer.
Boot under USB, Removable or HD's.

Yes I know that. I already overcame the bootmgr problem. Now it's a matter of it freezing at random points throughout the install process. I can't figure this out.

Have you done the hardware tests in the troubleshooting tutorial? Run memtest overnight to stress test it.

Then reset the BIOS to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI.

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn DVD yourself? Try the flash stick installer I provided earlier.

Next wipe the HD using Diskpart Clean Command from Command Line accessed by pressing Shift + F10 at first screen after booting installer. Then format an NTFS Primary partition marked Active to run Disk Check from Command Line, and try install again.
