Install issue with my graphics card

First off this is like only my second forum post EVER. I usually find a solution to my problems or use google, so plz bear with me if im not using the forum correctly.

So i've been using the windows 7 7000 build ever since it came out and its been running just fine on my setup. A couple days ago i downloaded the new RC 7100 build and when i tried to install it, i kept getting a blue screen.

I dont remember why, but i concluded that the issue was my graphics card so i took out my Radeon 4870x2 and took my dad's card, a GeForce 8500 GT. Putting the GeForce in my pc worked and it installed smoothly with both 32bit and 64bit versions of windows 7 RC

I then tried to put my Radeon back into my pc after installing with my geforce. Once it booted i got no signal to the monitor. After finding a work around my i got a blue screen after about 10 min. then it would not boot windows.

I'm still stuck at the installation with my radeon when i put the cd in. i get a blue screen right after the logo thing starts to move, this is before any setup information comes up.

In short, i cant get widows 7 RC to work with my graphics card.

    Help is much appreciated.

I had problems early on with ATI's drivers. My solution was to remove the Windows drivers, and extract the drivers from the ATI downloaded file. I could install them manually, and then reboot. Once I rebooted, I could rerun the Catalyst setup, and it would install properly. With 9.8 and 9.9, I haven't had any issues.

For the ATI card, run the downloaded file, and let it extract to a directory, and then cancel the install. I don't have the files in front of my, so I don't remember the exact path, but if you look into the new directory and dig through some of the files, you'll find the driver files. They are pretty obvious once you look there.

Once you do, you install manually, through Device Manager. Find the card, right click to update drivers, and point that wizard to the ones in the new, extracted directory. Reboot, and then run the downloaded Catalyst file normally, and let it install as you normally would.
