Thanks darkassain:)
I wil try that, thats easy
Can i put this Gujin thing on a flash drive? Willl it do the same work?
Hi Yronith!
As far as I know, it can be installed on any device... If you have access to a linux machine, you can follow the steps described here:
SourceForge.net: gujin boot/system loader: FAQ / HOWTO use Gujin
In any other case, you will have to Google for a solution.
Good luck!
AMD
I have solution.
You need Vista install DVD. Boot Vista Installation, choose Language press next and than press "Repair my computer". On next window u will have few options, choose "command promt". Remove Vista DVD and insert Windows 7 Install DVD. Navigate to DVD (for example d: or e:, depends on your drives setting, than go to folder sources (type "cd sources"), and type "setup". Installation will start shortly. Now just follow instructions :)
Good luck
When I boot from the Gujin disk, right after press pause it turns my monitor off.
I think the problem lies with the UDF file system on the DVD. If I boot from a DOS floppy with CD-ROM support, I can navigate to my DVD drive, type dir and get a listing that only contains the Readme.txt located in the ISO portion of the DVD.
The DVD works fine on my moms computer so it must have something to do with the bios/drive not being able to read UDF file systems.
Hi ten,
I did not try to boot with the feature g., but I do also think was you describe is the problem. Yes maybe is dos a possibility, but actually I dont know how to get dos(wich files do you copy). I did install win 7 on another computer and there it went fine no problem at all, the only thing is it dont delete/format the HD so my old xp files is still there togetter with win 7. Another problem I ran after the installation is that the screen solution is only 640x440 and no possibilities for more, so i guess for that you need a better "grafic card", but I do not know if you put a better grafic card if you need also a better transformator.
After posting, I did some messing around with Gujin in a virtual machine to see what's supposed to happen after my screen goes blank.
I deduced that F1 would boot drive 0 (the cd-rom) and sure enough it booted the UDF file system without issues.
Ifete, try making the Gujin disk. It worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you.
Thanks for the "tip" ten, I have them already ready for the Win 7 RC that should come tomorrow for download at microsoft, the download link has still not been pubblished. see you
