Windows 7: Installation error in intel D945GNT board

06 Oct 2009   #11

Win XP

I accept that vendor have to do that part. But, from MS they should remove the bug of hanging installation when there is no driver support/lack of drviers for a specific hw.

In my case there was no driver found for my modem, so the installation go stuck when MS installation can't able to find the drivers for my modem. Now, what I am telling is " The installation should not stop/hang, it should complete the installation then it should notify the user that there is no ddriver found for the specific hw". Will this be a right way to solve this kind of problem.
