    Installing Windows 7 Ultimate makes some devices not to work

    hello forum, i recently installed windows 7 Ultimate on another hard drive to dual boot with my windows 7 Home Premium (Dont bother asking why) And when it finished the installation, it logged on correctly, but now the wifi doesnt work (wifi light isnt even on when the wifi cord is pluged in), also the usb3.0 ports dont work either, how would i fix this?
    I tried going onto my Home Premium Version and everything worked fine there, specs down below if needed

    Have you done all your updates ? Installed all your drivers ? You do know about these things, correct ?

    WiFi cord ? What is that ?

    If the network Wireless driver is missing in Device Manager you'll need to import it from the PC or Device's Support Downloads webpage to get online to get all of your Important and Optional Updates. Only after all of these Updates are done should you import any other drivers missing in Device Manager.

    Make sure you came close to the perfect install described in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which details the best practices for Win7 install based on countless thousands we've helped with here.

    Wifi = wireless.

    What does the connection icon in the bottom right system tray show? Right click to Troubleshoot.

    Have you power cycled your router?

    Try reinstalling the Ethernet driver in Device Manager, or on Driver tab select Uninstall and reboot PC.

    Next in Network & Sharing Center, click on Adapter settings and check status of Ethernet adapter. Is it enabled? If so it's Troubleshooter from rightclick menu.

    Flush the DNS:

    Copy and paste these lines in Note pad.

    @Echo on
    pushd\windows\system32\drivers\etc
    attrib -h -s -r hosts
    echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS
    attrib +r +h +s hosts
    popd
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
    netsh winsock reset all
    netsh int ip reset all
    shutdown -r -t 1
    del %0

    Save as flush.bat to your desktop.
    Right click the .bat file and choose to run as Administrator. Your computer will reboot itself.

    If this doesn't help then look more closely at the logs shown in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7, for networking related errors logged at startup, google the exact text and identifying number of these errors or post back a screenshot of them, to research how others solved them.

    Can you borrow a USB wireless adapter to plug in to try with it's driver from disk or the web?

    Can we see a screenshot of the Device Manager>Ethernet Adapter Driver tab?
