BTW did you install win 2008 server the following way?
Did you do that? Not quite standard! Next time boot from installation DVD and install it. Then the system disk will be called C (instead of S). Windows doesn't care about it. But bad written scripts and tutorials refer to C most of the time!
- you were booted in win7/vista/winxp
- you inserted the win2008 server install DVD
- You installed win2008 on partition called S
Done! Thank you! Easily the most hopeful poster I've come across online
I downloaded this version
partition wizard home free
I noticed the bootable version.
When I run the above version from within windows it states
Didn't know that. But you can always use the the bootable CD version. That can do many partition actions like resize, move, create, delete for NTFS partitions.
EASUS partition manager is almost the same... but also not for server 2008.
Anyway use the tool outside windows.... so bootable CD.
I read back a few posts. You have EASEUS server partition manager . And that can do it...you already know.
Next time use the bootable CD of EASEUS server partition manager !
Magic Partiiton Manager Software's WinPE bootable disk - Portable EaseUS Partition Master.
