Hello Jstar,
Sure if your motherboard supports a USB mouse to be used at boot or dos, and is enabled in BIOS if it does. Usually all current motherboards do these days. :)
Hope this helps,
Shawn
thanks guys.
zigzag what do you mean by getting the drivers before I install?
I think he means to have all of your device drivers downloaded and ready to install, say on a usb flash key or DVD, in case you may need them (ex: network adapter driver to be able to access the internet) after installing Windows 7.
ahh thanks for the reminder :)
for my wireless adaptor I found the website to download drivers, which one should I use?
TP-LINK Download
If they do not have a Windows 7 version yet, then the latest Vista version will be the next best one to use instead. You may or may not need to run it using compatibility mode with Vista selected though. Try installing it without using it first.
I did some research on google and it seems to work on windows 7, however, theres a beta version which is really new on their website, should I try that?
Sure, download both. It the beta does not work out well, then you can always uninstall it and install the Vista one. There's usually a update readme file available to see the known issues with the driver and stuff included with the driver or to download separately to help decide.
