no way to recover PC to factory settings from Toshiba HDDrecovery

    Hi all,

Lately my Laptop (toshiba satelitte) has become incredibly slow and full of crap I don't need. I would like to completely reboot the pc to factory settings.

I have searched and people suggest entering the hddrecovery option by pressing f8 going into 'repair pc' and then selecting the correct option.

The problem I have is that I have upgraded to windows 7 since I bought the pc and I know toshiba do not allow you to recover from the hddrecovery option once you have upgraded. My question is, how am I meant to restore the pc to factory settings without having to buy the CD's from toshiba?

    Thanks

       Information
We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.
    startup repair disc-create

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

Everything you need is here to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which gives you a vastly superior install compared to the preinstalled bloatware, and will assure that you get and maintain a perfect reinstall if you use the tools and methods within.
