    no mouse on installation screen


    Hi I am doing a clean install on a amd 64 bit 4500 with a ati 1gig graphics card, 250g harddrive and i think at least that is what i have. The problem that i am having is that after installing windows 7 it freezes on the initial start up window where it is asking the language to install time and currency format and keyboard.

    It took a long time to get to this screen as at first it just hung on what looked like a windows 7 desktop background with no icons. It hung like this for about 10 minutes and now it is stuck on the first install screen. I cant input any information the keyboard is plugged in and I have tried it with a wireless mouse as well as a wired mouse. any help would be grateful

    You do not state how much ram you have installed, win7 can have probiems installing with more 2gig.
