New HDD Windows 7 Install Problems

I recently bought a new HDD for my laptop, since my other one died.
I had a friend that gave me a Windows 7 installation CD. I dont know if its legal, illegal, etc...Im just a teenager who want's is Laptop back xD
So, I inserted the CD in my Laptop, powered it up, It say's to press a random key to start from the CD, I press it, it goes normal.
"Install now" , I have two options, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and x86, I select x64 because I know that one is better (in my opinion). Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1, I agree terms, as normal. I select a customized install, Then gives me a "list". I select Disk 0 (My only option) I go to advanced options, and select "New", I apply, then I have two Partitions, I select number 2, since the other one is a "Reserved System?" (Im translating some of the words, since im Portuguese, and the installation is in Portuguese...) The type of this "Partiton" is Primary. I press next, and its installing Windows 7...
After the install, my laptop reboots, and the I get stuck at "Setup Is Starting Services" them my laptop just turns off, goes to a black screen with multiple options...
    Help please?

Download a GOOD ISO from the this tutorial:
Clean Install : Factory COA Activation Key

       Information
We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.

& made the Startup Repair CD.
    startup repair disc-create

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

You can order OEM Recovery disks from your OEM manufacturer's website.

Yeah whatever was on that DVD your "Friend" gave you is not legal. ,There is no DVD that has both the 32 and 64 bit versions on it.

You need to find the License key for the original version of Win 7 that came on your system and download the ISO for that version. The license key, COA sticker, is either on the bottom of the case or inside the battery compartment. Copy the key from it as you will need it to do the reinstall. Also you will need all the drivers for your model computer. Which you can get from the makers website in the Drive Download area.
