    Windows 7 installation problem

    Hi!

I got this strange problem wich i can't fix it and its making me angry..

on short words: my sistem (or dvd rom\rw) dosen't detect absolutley not even 1 dvd with Windows 7 on him

I tryed to write the dvd disc with lower speeds, medium, high etc .. nothing works, i asked friends to burn some dvds for me, same problem. The discs apear blank, even if i restart my PC when it tryes to boot from dvd it just stays like that for about 5-10 seconds then continues into windows vista (wich is installed now)

Have to mention that all disks work perfectly on my laptop and other systems .., my sistem sees them as blank ..

What could be the problem ?

Are you burning the ISO as a disk image, or just files?

Stalk3r, try using ImgBurn to burn the ISO on the DVD. It is free and widely used for that. I don't really know what is hapenning, but if it works, we will never know....

i tryed with imgburn too ..still nothing..

So is there no other software related problem that might cause it to not work ? If not.. then i'll try with another dvd-rom

Stalk3r, re-reading it I have a question: when you are in Vista can you see the contents of the DVD? Or is is only not recognized when you try to boot from it?

i sayd that it displays as blank dvd , 4.37\4.37 free space on it

I don't know what to do else, i guess i'll just change the dvd-rom with another one to see if it makes any sense, if not i'm screwd
