    I got this card to work in the Precision T1650, but only in Windows 8. I first created a virtual partition on the attached SAS drive, then turned off legacy boot, and installed 8 to the virtual partition I had created. I'm guessing there's other ways I could get 8 installed, but there was nothing I could do to get a 7 install to work.

    I was able to solve the freeze logo problem with UEFI setup boot by re-enabling CSM (legacy mode). I did do a UEFI boot though and not a legacy one - It's weird - I know. But it fixed the problem in my dell laptop. So keep legacy mode enabled too and dont disable it. You can still do a UEFI boot :)

    Hope this helps.

    Windows 7 x64 installed fine in UEFI mode with GPT partition scheme after this.
