Like sup3rsprt, I use the xp partition primarily for gaming and video capture. I also have the same games run in Win7 for ease of use when I want to play.
I dont really see much of a difference between the 2. Its just that the XP drivers are more mature for the hardware that I have got compared to the win7 drivers. Some win7 drivers are somewhat buggy, and I might use vista drivers which while they do work - are not optimised for Win7
But yeah, when I do get a new game - it goes straight onto Win7. If it seems buggy, I install it on XP.
It good to have choices :)
