    It may already be an MBR disk, or there may be disk problems. Continue with the steps/commands given to see if it yields an install or post back the specfiic error or failure, and at what stage exactly.

    If necessary check the disk condition with HD Diagnostic extended CD scan
    followed by Disk Check from installer's Command Line run on a full disk partition you create by removing the SIZE= switch.

    The hard drive now shows up in the installation however it says that has 0mb space even after i cleaned when i try to create a partition it fails

    Run the HD diagnostics first, then boot free Partition Wizard
    to create a Full disk NTFS primary partition, run Check File System on it. Then modify>Set to Active and try install.

    PW CD can also check the HD with Surface Scan although the maker's actual diagnostics CD may have more capability.

    bought a new hard drive and installed windows easy iam pretty sure that the other one was DOA so iam sending it back for a refund however i would like to thank all who posted and i will go straight to you guys if i need any more help
