Never had that problem with the boot cd, just choose the resolution and hit enter.

Ok, I have downloaded another copy of PW iso and imageburn and burned the cd with a speed of x4

After loading and rebooting and selecting to run the program i noticed something (went real fast) but something that said EDD...turned off?
after selecting the resolution its saying
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off

Anyone know anything about this?...lmao...i need my laptop back

Do you mean by no devices, no hard drives are found ? Can you get into the bios to see if your hard drive is detected ?

Yea..i can go into bios and see were it list a HD...and in the boot section it gives the options for HDD,cd, external and networking

I also put in an old Hard drive with visa on it..vista loaded restarted it to check and it says the same thing

What does this mean? How would anyone know what you're trying to say? If Vista actually runs after it loads then install CrystalDiskInfo - Software to read the HD SMART data.'

Then run the HD diagnostics from Windows.

If Vista won't start, reset the BIOS to defaults: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

Then try booting the disks: How to Boot A Computer from CD or DVD - YouTube
