It's only a short while till Windows 7 (the final version) will be available in the stores. The release date is set for October 21st. You can wait till then; and as the final version is more stable than an RC, I'm sure you won't regret it.

Did you delete your downloaded ISO? If not, burn a new DVD. If yes, there's not so much you can do.

Why is anyone still bothering with the RC? Download the 90 day RTM from Microsoft, so you can try out the final code.

Aye, this is what I would do. Personally, I'm firmly entrenched in my Win7 RC install until I get ahold of the RTM version in a few weeks, but if something were to happen that caused me to have to reformat before I can get the RTM version, I would likely do the above instead of just re-installing the RC from my burned DVD. Or more likely, I'd just gut it out with Vista for a couple of weeks since I'll probably get an upgrade copy through that student discount deal going around, so Vista would likely to have to be installed and activated anyways. ^_^

Last I knew, the RTM is not 90 days (at least not via the MSDN download). Am I missing something? I was able to get my key from the MSDN Key center and validate it and all. This is the way it has always worked at least in the past.

Now the original download that came out in Aug did not have a key (from what I remember) so I would assume that would expire. But if you put a key in, and verified it with MS, then it should not expire.
