    Desktop Icons in New Win7 Ultimate Keep Rearranging Themselves


    I recently installed Win 7 Ultimate on a new build. Whenever I reboot, the desktop icons keep rearranging themselves alphabetically along the left side of screen instead staying where I put them. I have Auto Arrange Icons unchecked. Am I missing a setting somewhere to tell Win 7 to leave my cottin' pickin' icons alone?

    After some more digging around on the "interweb", I found that, after arranging the icons where I want them, if I right click on the desktop, then click on Refresh, the ornery little buggers will stay put.

    You could also right click on desktop and select (view) and make sure things are as you want them.

    That is where the auto arrange selection is and having it unchecked didn't work.

Sims, Jurassic Park, Minecraft, etc. if it's a full screen thing, the icons will be all out of place when resuming back to the desktop. I've selected to align icons to grid already, but it'll still keep doing it. How can I fix it?

Whenever I play Counter Strike,my icons get rearranged and it's quite annoying.Whenever I hit the windows bar so I can check the messenger or whenever I close the game it happens.Please help.
