    gregrocker thanks for reply
I don't know what exactly is tech enthousiast....(hehe..)
I always unistall manually the boatware...applications, which I don't need
for to have a more light and quick system...(it works!)
    ...Unfortunatelly I don't have a W7 original disk....so neither oem cds
or restoring to factory settings will give me a clean install...
...Thats why I ask if I can use the W7 disks I made from "digital life-iso"
But Kaktussoft told me I will mess with the differents languages...
...The best for me would be a clean install but with a recovering partition....(because I know some things but I am not a "guru"...so it seems for me a "handy" way to roll back quick,if need it...)I know is possible to do anything..with WAIK you can build your own enviroments (recovery partitions etc) but it needs.....to study....to study....
    and to read....
....In this moment I have to finish the story, I wanted just to make a repair...and later when I'll be able
I will make my sytems like i want them..
I'm sorry I don't have in this moment time...so I write everything very quick....I'll be back soon..
Thanks thanks thanks to all of you...you are so kind in this forum...

    He wants the GREEK version!

But since he has VSS errors in eventlog, he should check the harddisk. At least that's my opinion. Without a good working harddisk ... reinstall is useless

I didn't get that he wants the Greek version from his reply which we waited so long for:

You want Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Greek...correct?

Of course I would prefer to have W7 Ultimate...but is illegal...so I'll stay with my version.
I don't care anymore to have greek but I care to have the recovery partition (is a very easy way to roll back)......but the recovery partition have nothing to do with languages?
So can I use the W7 disks(from iso) for repair and change language?
    Thanks for patience and informations
    It remains Greek to me.

Ok friends...I am back in business...
Gregrocker - sorry ..just now I finished reading the page you suggest me "clean reinstall-Factory oem W7"..
Really is everything someone can need....I didn't know about this page. So I can try a clean install...and if something goes wrong I can (with the recovery oem cds I have made already), bring laptop in the state it was when I bought it.
    Did I understand well? ........Yeeeeaaaa!
So I can give a try. I am a little afraid to mess reinstalling drivers or to find any difficulties....but like we said I can bring the system back to factory oem settings.
So I will mark the thread as solved!
I really thank you all...... of course I have still thousant of questions....about repairing and and and...but I believe until I die I will have questions.....so we will finish it here....
I really appreciate all of you for the time you gave me...
Kaktussoft -...I will test my hard drive.........don't worry.....if Ι will be inside of new problems.......I'll come back...
......(not often I find so kind people.......and hoping next time I am speaking a little better english....)

I would keep the thread open so we can help you with your reinstall. You might as well since it is a specialty of these forums, where we've helped tens of thousands of happy users do this.

Pay close attention to how drivers are handled in Win7 because it's different than in the past.

I thought you want GREEK win7...you don't have the dvd yet as far as i know.
Why not restore to "factory settings"? it's the same as clean install. factory settings have all drivers already installed and is automatically activated. Only negative thing is it has all kinds of bloatware.

Why not do a restore to factory settings?

Of course backup important files first!

    Hello (again)...people...
Ok .I want of course to keep the thread open.... Just the "big job" will be tomorrow. Now -in Athens- is 1 oclock midnight
and I am in a friends house ( I don't have Dell laptop with me).
Kaktussoft yes I have greek windows but like I wrote you..I don't care so much to keep the os in greek...
Of course is easier for me to use greek.... but anyway the most important actions you can do is in english..like debugging, tutorials to learn C or visual basic or command prompt or anything....so I thought if I'll change to english maybe is an "opportunity"..to learn also better english...
Having in mind always that I can change easily back to oem factory settings....it was looking a good idea...
Like I wrote you in the beginning I start with the will just to repair......All my questions was if I can make the repair with the image W7 or with disks from iso...and....Now after the informations you gave me (that is not possible to repair greek os with english disks), and the page gregrocker show me....I started to think more and more about to give a try to a clean install....
But after the last post of Kaktussoft.....when you told me why to go in problems? just make a restore to factory settings....again I change my mind ....because somehow you are right....when I can unistall all the apps I don't want (like I have done always)....why to go inside all this stress?......Only if I see it like a tutorial for learning......
.........So that I don't make you crazy.....in true in this moment I cannot decide.....I'll wait until tomorrow......
hoping that you will be still in the mood.....we will think about when I'll be infront of dells monitor...
Again thanks to everybody..........I wish to all of you good time........
    See you soon ....
Kaktussoft...... Just I read again your last post.........I think man......you win me....You are right.....who likes problems?....
I can make the easy restoring to factory settings....unistall al the boatware......apps.......And when I will become a Guru .....
......after I can build even my own operating system......haha!
.............I will know for sure tomorrow.....

    Hello friends.
...first Goodmorning, second I have more clear mind today.
    So, I decide to try
    a)to repair!...(an old strory..) how?...here there is a problem...
B)to roll back to factory settings (the easiest!)
c)to try a nice clean install! (the best but stressfull!)
    The above order I'll follow...
Now if you know you can help me to clear up the situation.
I pass earlier chkdsk/f with no errors. In my events I am full of errors...They speak for an unknown device...which brought mess...speaks for unable to create shadows copy...That some services couldn't start...like MiniRedirector..like Network Awareness...that some prog. could not load...and more...more...some I believe comes from the failed Renesas driver, also in device manager I have 2 unknown dev!. Anyway maybe is not clever to speak for all this now.
Unfortunatelly I had unistall the Dell diagnostics. Kaktussoft You gave me yesterday 2 apps for hard disks checking.
Seagate is my external drive. **The second app do you think has compatibility with my inner hard disk?
(I wrote you already what hard disk I have, but is just numbers...)**so do you know can I use your program?
Before I'll do anything I would like to check my disk like you advice me **(supposing chkdsk is not enough..)
So after I'll try repairing. I cannot find easily greek W7....because ...my neighbors or they don't use computers or they have preinstall Windows like me..
I have two possibilities...a) In one forum I remeber was giving instructions how to change language packs in
that iso files from "digital river"...I had keep in my favorities the site..I have to search to find between of hundreds...

..and B) I found in some sites a program called "vistalizator"...but looks a little strange...**Maybe someone from you knows what is this...They say you can -very easy- change languages in os...maybe is a virus?
**So if somehow I could build a greek disk after could I repair?
If all the above is not possible I'll try the rest two solutions. First the factory set. and if not possible
I'll try clean install in english..it's ok. For to make easier to you to answer me I put two stars infront of every question...**...
Like you understood.....is going to take a long long time to fix my PC...I have also my first Acer and is ok.
I feel to thank you again... any advice, idea, thinking is wellcome...
(gregrocker I am not so experience forum user....if we continue speaking..do I have to unmark the thread as solved?)
