Yeah, my BIOS is set such that UEFI is enabled, but secure boot is disabled. I made sure to do step 11 when creating the USB install drive. I booted the USB in UEFI mode, and am using the USB 2.0 port, and both .ISOs I tried are win7x64 SP1. It successfully loads the windows files, but freezes on the "Starting Windows" splash screen, before it loads the language settings.
I was able to install win7 in legacy mode, I just wanted to see if I could get it working with UEFI.gregrocker said:
