it reduces the size of your hiberfil.sys file.
-50 creates it of your physical memory
Hiberfil.sys uses 75% of your RAM
It won't turn off the hibernation. It will just cut the size down . Right now it is using 75% of your RAM if you do -50 it cuts it an half.
So, if I cut the hyberfil.sys size in half, if I'm using more than half of 75% of RAM when a power outage while the computer is unattended forces my computer to hibernate, would I lose what I had going on?
It won't harm anything if you have a power outage. It just lowers your hiberfil.sys file .
Hibernate - Change Size of hiberfil.sys File
So I'll be able to hibernate even if my RAM has more in it?
I'd heed the Warning box in tutorial:
Hibernate - Change Size of hiberfil.sys File
