Unable to disable Secure Boot in Windows 7 (New MOBO)
Hello. I recently bought an Asus P8B75-M LE along with an MSI GTX 660 Ti OC V1 and an i5 (My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit). Every time i start the computer i get this message: "The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device. Click OK to enter BIOS Setup" and a yellow text: "Go to Advanced > Boot > CSM Parameters, and adjust the CSM (Compatibility Support Module) settings to enable boot device.". I've tried for hours, but to no avail. I've updated the bios to the latest version, too. But i believe i know what the problem is. I need to disable Secure Boot, but the option to do so is greyed out. The only option i am able to change is "OS Type". Please, help me! I'm getting really frustrated here.

I've read it. It still doesn't work. Also, i've got no boot options. The "Boot Priority" list is empty. Do i need a Windows 7 CD? (Before you start flaming me, this is my first time doing this.)

Secure Boot broke my fresh Windows install. What happened? I reinstalled Windows 7 (x64) on my UEFI supported laptop just fine. Because I was using a USB for setup I had to disable Secure Boot according to the how-to here. USB was prepared as an EUFI device. So Windows works perfectly. Until I decided to check the BIOS and see if Secure Boot was on. It was... |

looking to disable cpu fan but mobo keeps giving me warnings I have a HTPC which includes an ASUS mobo/cpu combo (fanless, smart BIOS, etc). The case is mini ITX with a single case fan. As it is this machine runs really cool since I have no moving parts other than the storage HDD (OS is on SDD). What I ended up doing was move the case fan power plug to the... |
