Windows 7 files are corrupt
Hi there, I turned on my desktop today to find that my installation of Windows 7 has become corrupt. My system 32 files are not working correctly. I am able to login, but only after clicking "OK" on an error message that says ""LogonUI.exe - Entry Point Not Found, The procedure entry point RegQueryValueExW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNALBASE.dll" several hundred times. As i continually click "OK' i quickly try to type my password in a deformed looking text box. My desktop loads, but only with a cursor, a black background & the windows 7 testing text on the botton right corner. My applications & services seem to be running because my Norton 360 security popped up saying it is running its daily tasks as it ussually does. Ctrl-Alt -Delete works, but confronts me with same the error message that i got in the logon screen. After I click "OK" another several times i managed to click the task manager tab which did absolutely nothing. The shortcut keys also appear to do nothing. I tried loading in the Windows 7 disc to do an "Upgrade Installation", but sadly the autoplay function did not load. I am stuck with no other option in view. I absolutely cannot do a "Clean Installation". I would lose many important files. What should i do inorder to solve my problem. From what i've read Windows 7 does not have a repair function similar to the XP disc. Thats a very big dissapointment, but will not deter me from buying Windows 7. If possible it would be great to see that feature on the final release. Thanks in advance.
