    Hi,

Windows 7 will install 99% of all the drivers you need. Do you have access to an ethernet cable? If so, insert it, then run Windows Update....it should download and install any remaining updates for your devices, including your WIFI adapter.

Try that and let us know how you get on.

    Regards,

I mean run Windows Update - your installation disk will not have the very latest Windows updates and driver updates.

    1. Click
    2. Hover your mouse over All Programs for several seconds until the list changes.
    3. Find and click Windows Update as shown below.

I went to windows update but I got the error 8024001F and it told me that I need to connect to the internet to check for updates even though I had the ethernet cable in.

With the ethernet cable plugged in, reboot your computer and try again. Any luck?

Do you have the ethernet cable plugged in or not? Once it's plugged in, go to the connection icon in bottom right system tray to confirm it is connected to your network. If not, rightclick on the connection icon to Run Troubleshooter.

If you need the driver, go to the Support Downloads webpage for your model PC or device to download the wireless driver to a flash stick or CD, transfer it and install to the PC with issue.

Then run all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates with any requested reboots. Keep going back to Check for Updates until they are all installed. If any drivers are missing in Device Manager after all updates are done, import them the same way. Driver Install - Device Manager
