how I Install windows 7 alongside Windows 8

I am Currently running both windows 7 & 8 on same Pc using Dual boot. but recently some programs on win7 dont run accurately. i reinstalled them, but no betterment came. so I would like to reinstall windows7 . but if i install windows 7. will Windows 8 become unable to boot or use.... because earlier years back, when i install windows XP alongside Windows7 ,even separate partition , i was not able to use windows7.. but i dont want to lose Windows * apps and setting and want to run windows 7 alongside by reinstalling.. if I do that ,will I able to use both ? plz help me

You can install Windows 7 or Windows 8 first.

The problem you had with XP is that it isn't modern enough to know how to configure a Dual Boot when installed last. Both Win7 and WIn8 are. So you can install them in any order. Be sure to boot the installer, follow the same steps as in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to get and maintain a perfect install.
