Windows not booting from SSD on laptop, fine on desktop

When I boot up from an ssd I purchased recently (so fresh install) it freezes during the startup logo sequence and goes into startup repair. After failing to repair the startup it gives these error messages-

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
    Problem Signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385
    Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
    Problem Signature 03: unknown
    Problem Signature 04: 1
    Problem Signature 05: autofailoever
    Problem Signature 06: 1
    Problem Signature 07: BadDriver

I've actually never managed to get it to work on my laptop- I had to install windows using my desktop due to it being the only machine with a disk drive I had access to.

The only drivers that were installed on the drive were the appropriate video driver and a driver for the drive itself, which windows downloaded and installed automatically.

If you installed WIn7 on the Desktop and want to move it to the laptop it requires SysPrep to move HD to another computer.

You can also install to the laptop using a flash stick. Extract the ISO image file from the disk using ImgBurn and write it to flash stick using UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive.

Use the same steps as here to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Unplug all other HD's and peripherals during install. Plug only the SSD into SATA port 1.
