Is it possible to install Windows 7 on a Windows 8 computer?

    Did you watch it write to the flash stick? It takes awhile. If so I don't know why the folders wouldn't show up. Look again.

    The computer wont boot from the flash drice it doesn't even show up as a bootable drive.

    The flash drive shows up in my computer but is 5.3 GB smaller then it should be.

    its that uefii thing.try this: in bios disable secure boot(already would be disabled) then enable legacy boot(I hope you dont want UEFI) in legacy change the boot order to cd/dvd.exit saving changes.see if it boots from disc.if you get in and reach the format disc options delete all partitions and create new ones using either GPT or MBR. and install the os on the correct drive.

    Secure boot is still disabled but the usb doesn't show up in the bios and I dont want to do a clean install ill lose windows 8

    I've never seen UltraISO not work. I'd try Format and Write again.

    Confirm the size of ISO against download.

    Then I'd try another flash stick, followed by a DVD drive.

    Can you confirm for us exactly what the Secure Boot and CSM/Legacy BIOS settings are in BIOS? Pictures would be helpful.
