Did you click on the link in my first post where I provided the wireless driver for your Hardware ID?

Just to be sure, you are using 32 bit Win7 with only 2gb RAM and an Atom processor, right? If not Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 with the latest installer for your licensed version from Step 1.
Oops, missed that...doing that now and then will install and report back....

And yes, installed 32 bit Win7 with 2GB RAM and Atom N2600...

I would also look on the Support downloads webpage for your model PC for the Win7 drivers for your version. But first install all Important and Optional Windows Updates once you get online.
Would normally do that, but this little laptop is from China...so, haven't found the support page for it...probably last time I get one like this...

Some good news on the WiFi and Ethernet front...
Found the WiFi driver needed at HP driver downloads...installed and voila! now have working wifi....

Then searched around and found the Ethernet driver...installed and voila! now have working ethernet....

    So, last item is Audio.....

Any suggestions as to how to get it working...very odd, as it shows that drivers are installed...

Thanks for all the great help so far....

Check on the OEM manufacturer's web site for all the Windows 7 drivers for your NoteBook.

Do you mean the companies that make the specific components (ie, graphics, audio, wifi card, etc...) ?

If so, that's what I've been trying to do this morning....

    Thanks.

I'm glad you were able to get online with the wireless adapter I provided you, but you seem to have forgotten what I wrote for you to do next:

Once you get online enable Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware (Step 3) then run all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates, with reboots, then go back and Check for Updates again. This is how Win7 delivers the drivers it wants, performance and security updates.

Afterwards if there are any missing drivers in the Device Manager, import them from the PC or device maker's Support Downloads webpage. There are usually only one or two. If you'll post back their name we can help you find them, tracing them if necessary with Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices - Windows 7 Help Forums
