Buy or borrow a 4gb flash stick, or an external DVD drive if you don't have internal.

None of my friends have a 4GB flash driver. I'm only 15, and my mom doesn't trust people on the internet and says that they will hack her credit card. So basically, I can't get a disk, or install it on my pc. So once again, my pc is ruined. Although, those recovery discs work up until the point where its the last step. It say Software Installation: Installing Dritek Launch Manager (GTW)... 5/35. And it just freezes there. I left it on, wen't to school, and came back and it was still on step 5/35. When I try to get to task manager, it opens and closes within a matter of seconds. So it would work if it wasn't for that dritek thing. Oh well, once again, my pc is ruined.

Ok, the recovery discs worked. I can now use windows 7 64 bit again. With one small problem. The activation. I tried to activate windows, but it wouldn't take my key, any suggestions?

If you used Recovery DIsks which came with the PC or you made from the PC, then it self-activates. Check at Computer>Properties what it says at the bottom about Activation.

If you did the superior Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 then insert the Product Key off of the COA sticker as shown in the tutorial.

Are those recovery discs you used, the same ones you mentioned before?

If they are recovery disks intended for another PC then they cannot normally be used for this one. You can try to activate them manually using the Product Key on the COA sticker. But you'd be better off doing the Clean Reinstall.

Yes, the did work. So I guess recovery discs meant for other computers can be used for another computer. Anyways, my pc is fixed besides the key issue.

This will become a big issue...you only have 30 days to put the correct product key in.

I would suggest changing the product key to the one on the machines COA sticker and activating that. If it fails follow the sticky in the wu snd sctivation forum
